The number of participants varies with activity and school enrollment.

High school teams travel through out Southeast Alaska to compete with other schools.  Travel varies depending on activity, but most trips are 3-5 days long. Coaches and chaperones accompany the students on these trips.  Students are expected to complete their homework during their absence from school. Students must maintain grades in order to participate, compete and travel.  Students/Parents are responsible for all meal costs and any other miscellaneous expenses.  The school district pays for travel and housing if needed.  Students are housed out with other families while traveling.

Students are not required to try out for any team.  They are required to be present at practice, work hard, and stay eligible.  No student is guaranteed a spot on the traveling team.

All participants must turn into the high school office a current physical, and activities agreement packet prior to participation.  Community service hours need to be completed  before the end of the season. Eligibility is due prior to any competition.  There is a $100.00 fee per activity.

All rules and guidelines and found in the Coaches/Students and Parents Activities Handbook.
